Ever since I was a kid, I've loved doodling goofy characters and cartoons. Today, I create everything from digital illustrations and comics to short animations and character designs.

You might have noticed the strange little creature wandering around the website. That's Zak!
Zak started out as a character I created 11 years ago for a 6-panel comic competition at school. Even after the competition ended, I kept drawing him because I really liked the design and the character. Over time, Zak became my online avatar and eventually the official mascot of BrightlyTooned.
Although Zak isn't exactly me, he represents me online. You'll see him popping up throughout the website in artwork, animations, comics, and other projects.
As for what Zak actually is... that's a good question. He's a weird little alien creature that looks kind of like a goat, and that's really about it.
You'll probably be seeing a lot more of Zak in future comics, animations, and other projects.
